Derby Days
This is not only a major social event for the house and the sorority community, but our biggest fundraiser of the year, benefiting the Children's Miracle Network. This event is usually held in the middle of the fall semester and runs for a full week. Sororities compete in different events all week as well as raising money for the cause. We also design an "athon" relevent to that year's theme which runs for 50 hours on the lawn downtown. Some past themes have been: Rock 'n Roll, Hollywood, Decade Derby Days, and Disney Derby Days. Each year we look for new ideas to raise money and beat the previous year's record.
